"The cure for anything is salt water. Sweat, tears or the sea."
- Isak Dinesen
Some places have a way of quietening your mind, and for me, Ynys Llanddwyn is one of them.
We visited on a day trip while exploring Anglesey, and I couldn't believe how peaceful it was. Even on a beautiful day, it felt wonderfully uncrowded, giving us the chance to wander the sweeping beach, explore the tidal island and simply soak it all in without rushing.
With its windswept coastline, historic lighthouse and views stretching across the sea to the mountains of Snowdonia, it's one of those places that stays with you long after you've left.
